When a smartphone costs more than ₹20,000, people’s expectations naturally rise. Design and display that catches the eye, but
The Vivo T4’s Full HD+ AMOLED display has a refresh rate of 120 Hz and is incredibly vivid and fluid. Even in direct sunshine, the screen appears crystal clear thanks to its 5000 nits brightness and support for HDR10. However, when used outside, its curved display may present some issues due to reflection. But all in all, the display feels high-end.
Sound is not powerful, but performance is reliable
Its solitary bottom-firing speaker is a little underwhelming, despite the attractive display. At loud volumes, the sound tends to crack, and the audio enhancer feature doesn’t really help either. Dual speakers improve the sound quality of many smartphones in this price range.
However, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset is not lagging behind in terms of performance. The phone functions flawlessly whether it is playing demanding games like Call of Duty or Instagram. Even after 45 minutes of gaming, there is no heating, albeit there is a slight latency on Ultra Frame Rate.
Camera: Strong in appearance, but just okay in reality
Although the Vivo T4’s camera module appears to have three cameras, it actually just has one 50MP sensor. The photographs are vibrant, while those in “Natural Color Mode” appear more drab. Photos shot during the day are very crisp, although textures get little blurry when zoomed in. Although the shutter speed is a little slow, its night mode is excellent at night and produces good images even in low light.
