Excellent power and great torque with 890cc engine

Yamaha YZF R9 has equipped this superbike with a 890cc inline-three cylinder CP3 engine that produces 117.3 horsepower and 93 Nm of torque. Every ride is a unique experience thanks to this engine’s power, smoothness, and refinement. The bike has a 6-speed gearbox, and each shift feels quite accurate.
Riding will be full of technology, safe and smart
Yamaha YZF R9 has been enhanced to be both intelligent and powerful. Wheelie control, cornering ABS, cornering traction control, and numerous riding modes are among its IMU-based electrical features. There is no compromise in suspension and braking as well

At the same time, entirely dependable Brembo Stylema callipers with 320mm twin discs up front and a 220mm single rotor down back have been provided for braking.
Launch and price possibilities in India

The Yamaha YZF R9 is expected to retail for between ₹12 lakh and ₹14 lakh (ex-showroom) when it launches in India in October 2025. Bikes like the Ducati Monster, Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R, and Ducati Panigale V2 will fight with it in this market. By the end of this year, the Triumph Tiger Sport 800 will also be introduced in India.
